PW964 - Large Michigan fish decoy circa 1940s
This is a wonderful stylized fish decoy that was found in Michigan. It is in flaking orange and gold paint and has original unusual round weights in the bottom, line tie on top and carved gill marks with no eyes. It has no eyes and is approx 10 1/2 inches long. It has flaking gold paint on the sides as an attractor to fish. It has a tin tail and fins and a body crack at the rear fins. (In my opinion, does not detract from this rare piece)
These large old fish are getting really hard to find and this one would make a great display.
